The Heartfelt Thin Aluminum Humidifier is filled with Heartfelt Beads so you have the best passive system for the care and humidification of your prized cigars.

Note: The Heartfelt Thin Aluminum Humidifier comes pre-conditioned at either the 65% or 70% humidification level (depending on which humidification level you ordered) and is ready to go to work. Leave the Heartfelt Thin Aluminum Humidifier in the plastic bag until you are ready to install it in your humidor and put it to work.

Hook and Loop attachment system: Consider the mounting location of your Heartfelt Thin Aluminum Humidifier carefully. Be sure that the location you pick gives enough clearance so that the holes on the face of the Heartfelt Thin Aluminum Humidifier are not blocked by the contents of your humidor. Attach either portion of the 4 hook and loop pads to the back of the Heartfelt Thin Aluminum Humidifier being careful to NOT block the two holes on the back of the Heartfelt Thin Aluminum Humidifier, you will use these holes to re-hydrate the Heartfelt Thin Aluminum Humidifier. Attach the other side of the hook and loop strip to the inside of your humidor. You can also cut the hook and loop strip in half and place them between the holes and the end of the Heartfelt Thin Aluminum Humidifier.

Preconditioning your humidor: If you are installing the Heartfelt Thin Aluminum Humidifier in a new unconditioned humidor or a humidor that has become dried out, it is recommended that you condition the humidor first according to the directions provided with your humidor.

Adding Distilled Water to your Heartfelt Thin Aluminum Humidifier: When the recharging of the Heartfelt Beads is required adding distilled water is simple. Fill the provided syringe (syringe may be different than the one shown) with approximately 5cc of distilled water and slowly inject the distilled water into the Heartfelt Thin Aluminum Humidifier through the small holes in the back.

Inject 5cc in each of the 2 holes. Allow the Heartfelt Thin Aluminum Humidifier to sit for a few minutes, wipe off the excess distilled water and return the Heartfelt Thin Aluminum Humidifier to your humidor. I strongly recommend only the use of "distilled water" with Heartfelt Beads. The use of other water such as tap water or bottled water can contaminate the Heartfelt Beads by introducing minerals to the beads. Over time this will clog the Heartfelt Beads with those minerals rendering the Heartfelt Beads useless. In case you accidentally overfill the Heartfelt Beads it is easy to dry the excess by using a hair blow dryer to remove the excess.

Cleaning the Heartfelt Thin Aluminum Humidifier: Use a soft cloth or paper towel moistened with distilled water to clean the Heartfelt Thin Aluminum Humidifier. DO NOT use any type of soap as the Heartfelt Beads will absorb the soap and this will deteriorate the effectiveness of the Heartfelt Beads.
