How much do I need for my Humidor?

Here are some approximate quantities for various containers.
5 cubic feet requires 1 pound of humidification beads.
1 pound of beads per 50 quarts (coolerdors)

There is no maximum amount of beads that you can use. If your humidor calculates to needing to use 1 ounce, there is no problem using 2 ounces. The additional Heartfelt Humidity Beads will only give you more moisture storage. It will also help your humidor recover quicker after you open the humidor, twice as many beads doing the same work. The extra Heartfelt Humidity Beads will not over humidify your humidor, it will still stay at the level of the beads (65% or 70%) that you use.

Calculating the amount of Heartfelt Humidity Beads needed for your humidor:

Measure the depth, width and height of you humidor and multiply the numbers to get the volume. Use the chart below to translate the volume to the ounces needed.
